TAGGING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Purchase Index Cards - Use only 3x5 index cards (NO paper tags) and safety pins (NO straight pins.)
  2. Prepare your items by washing, ironing, and replacing batteries to ensure that your items are in excellent condition.  Hang clothing items so that the hanger makes a ? with the tag on the front left shoulder of the garment.  Items not properly prepared will NOT be accepted.
  3. Organize your items by GENDER and SIZE before you start.
  4. Computer Entry (Don't panic - It's quick and easy!)  Click Here if you are unable to complete your own computer entry.  Gather your clothing next to you at the computer.  Register and Train - click on "Register Here" at the bottom of this page.  This registers you as a consignor.  You will be asked for your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and you will create a password.  You will then be asked to complete some training screens to ensure that we are on the same page regarding quality, pricing, and organization.  Once you finish, you will receive a consignor number (which is different from the number used for previous sales) and a batch number.  You will want to write these down.  Enter the description and price for each item.  You will be able to save your work and come back later if you would like.  Choose if you would like to donate your items and which items you would like to sell at half price.  Tag and number your garments.  These numbers will correspond with the number on your batch list.  This will help with placing the bar code labels on the correct tags.
  5. Drop off your items.  When you drop off your items, we will have your labels printed and ready to place on the cards.  Please bring your items in numerical order to make this process easier.  Please allow 30 minutes for drop off.  We will contact you after you complete the registration to schedule a drop off time.  ***Registration and item entry will close at Midnight on Monday, September 18, 2006.  If you are not done by this time please contact us!***
  6. Pick up your items on Monday, September 25 from 9--11 am.  You will receive your unsold items, a detailed inventory listing, and your check for your sold items.  ALL ITEMS NOT PICKED UP WILL BE DONATED--NO EXCEPTIONS!
